Brian T. Chang
Peter R. Berger
Mr. Daudt has a successful and distinguished record spanning 25 years in the business
world. He has been involved in over 120 acquisitions and divestitures in both the United
States and China. Mr. Daudt has worked for over 16 years in China, starting the first
Sino-American underground construction joint venture in that country. Mr. Daudt holds
a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Minnesota and a Juris
Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law. Additionally, he holds his CPCU, AAI,
and CBI designations.
Prior to founding ChinaPlus Capital, he was Managing Director of Lazard Middle Market
in Shanghai. Mr. Daudt is a frequent lecturer and sits on the board of several companies
in the United States and China. He is also one of the founding Board Members of ACG China.
Brian T. Chang
Mr. Chang has a long and distinguished track record working with Chinese and
American companies cross border investments. As a founder of Pacific Investment
Partners, he has worked with 3M, General Mills, Medtronic, GM, ADC and other
Prior to that, he was a Vice President at Alliance-Bernstein and Director of Greater
China Business Development at Softbank International. Mr. Chang came to the
U.S. in 1984 and holds an MBA in International Business from the Carlson School
of Management at the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the National
Committee on U.S.-China relations and currently serves as an Executive Fellow
at the Opus College of Business — University of St. Thomas.
Other Board and Directorship positions held include Taian Gas Manufacturing
and Installation Company, Tianjin Urban Construction Group and the Dongli (Tianjin)
Federation of Industry and Commerce. Previous Board positions include Ault
Corporation, U.S. China Friendship Association, Minnesota International Center,
Oak Investment Fund and the Minnesota International School Foundation.
Peter R. Berger
For three decades, Mr. Berger has successfully led international businesses during
periods of significant expansion and profitability as well as others firms through times
of crisis which required specific turnaround and workout experience. As the CEO of public
and private firms, Mr. Berger was directly responsible for completing over 20 substantial
acquisitions, mergers and divestitures. With over 25 years of experience working in and
with China, Mr. Berger brings to ChinaPlus Capital a strong understanding of the financial,
commercial and cultural challenges of merging western and Chinese business interests.
Prior to joining ChinaPlus Capital, Mr. Berger was a Senior Advisor to ChinaVest, the Managing
Director of the Ventana Group LLC, President of Ironside Associates, CEO and President
of Valley Media (WMIX) and President/COO of the KB division of ConAgra Foods (CAG).
Mr. Berger holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University in Industrial Engineering
and a Master of Business Administration from Suffolk University.
Alexander TC Lee
Henry Yu, a seasoned banker of about 34 years, has had an excellent banking career covering domestic banking and global business. He is currently Managing Director of the Global Financial Institutions-Asia of Fifth Third Bank (10th largest bank in USA). Henry is a well-rounded banker having been involved in Investment Banking (IPO, M&A, Asset Securitization), Commercial and International Multinational Lending, Treasury Management, Credit Administration, Compliance, Foreign bank relationship management, Trade Finance, and Global Supply Chain.
Henry Yu is also an avid volunteer promoting U.S./China and U.S./Emerging Markets business relationships and transactions. Through Henry’s 25 plus years of coverage on Emerging Markets, Asia, and in particular Greater China, he is a frequent speaker and lecturer on Asian/U.S./China business to universities in Georgia (Emory University, Georgia Tech, Georgia State University, Kennesaw State University, Georgia Perimeter College), and universities in China, namely Sichuan University, Suzhou Institutes, Jiliang University, and Jinan Universities. Henry chairs the Advisory Board of the National Association of Chinese-Americans, and is a member of the Global Commerce Council of the Metro Atlanta Chamber. A believer in education and mentorship, Henry sits on the Asian Studies Board of Kennesaw State University, a member of Georgia State University’s China Task Force, and Trustee of Georgia Perimeter College’s Foundation Board. Married to wife Elaine, the Yu’s have daughters Amanda and Vivian.
Alexander TC Lee
Alexander TC Lee has been working in the financial services industry for more
than 25 years. He has worked for financial institutions such as Credit Suisse Group,
Barclays Bank Group, Deutsche Bank Ag and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein
with experiences gained in London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai.
Mr. Lee has gained senior and regional management experience in financial markets,
financial products and services knowledge in London and the Asia-Pacific region
covering Trade Finance, Securities, Initial Public Offerings, Private Placements,
Operations, New Business Setup, Investment Management, Derivatives, Commercial
Loans, Credit Risk Management, Front Office management of Asian Equities, Information Technology and Mergers and Acquisitions in China.
Mr. Lee is a Financial Advisor for Mergers and Acquisitions in China. Alexander obtained
his Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc) and Operational Research (M.Sc) degrees from the University of Sussex, England and the International Banking Diploma (ACIB, Associate
of the Institute of Bankers) from ifs School of Finance, England. He has also passed
The Securities Association General Registered Representative Examination (Financial Services Authority, United Kingdom). He also attended the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology USA, Harvard Business School USA, Pennsylvania State University USA, Wharton Business School USA and The University of Singapore in collaboration with
Stanford University USA on specific as well as senior management courses.
Lili Zhou is the founder and General Manager of Driving Force Consulting, a boutique human resources consulting firm based in Shanghai, China.
She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Shanghai Maritime University and the University of Malta, majored in Statistics and Economics respectively. In 2006, she completed her full-time MBA from SDA Bocconi, Milan, Italy.
Lili Zhou has many years experience in the field of human resources. She worked for several multinational corporations and headed HR department. She’s not only a senior HR professional but also an entrepreneur and founded Driving Force in 2011. Led by her, the company has successfully gained the reputation for its efficiency and professionalism.
